Well its official, we had a very successful Patient Appreciation Party on August 18th. A huge thank you to patients and families who were able to attend. Also a big thank you to all the fun planning coordinators at JKAUR Media & PR, Aura Orthodontics Staff, the numerous other companies who were able to make the event so incredibly special.

Aura Orthodontics Hosts a Successful Patient Appreciation Party

(Vancouver, BC – August 28) – Orthodontic patients want to know that the doctor they choose cares and goes the extra mile. Dr. Sharma of Aura Orthodontics proves just that every day, and recently threw a summer celebration on Saturday, August 18, 2012 for patients and their families at Newton Athletic Park in Surrey.
The office reserved the South Casual Field for the enjoyment of their patients. “As a family- focused practice, we work hard to show our patients that we view them as a part of our extended family,” said Dr. Sharma. With the park, the great weather, a live DJ, time for mingling, and the photo booth. The party was a way to continue to build on these relationships. Orthodontics can be fun.”
Patients and their families enjoyed fun in the sun with running the horizontal bungee and sliding on the gigantic bouncy castle. They also had a blast on the Sumo wrestling mat, playing various games, and eating pizza and freezies. The highlight of the day for patients, though, was being able to visit with Dr. Sharma and his staff without having their braces or Invisalign tightened or adjusted. Dr. Sharma said, “For a first event, we had an excellent turnout—and it was great to see the patients and their families having a great time together. A big thank you to participating businesses that provided raffle prizes – in particular Dr. Bhullar of All Care Optometry for providing two pairs of kids sunglasses and Smallfry Media Photo booths for the Whitecaps game tickets.”
While most orthodontists only interact with patients while performing treatment, at Aura Orthodontics in Surrey and Abbotsford, braces are only a small part of the relationship. The doctor and his staff continually go above and beyond to ensure professionalism, along with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for their patients. The summer party was a piece of their formula for success. The party enabled patients the opportunity to spend time with the staff outside of the office and build trust so when a patient has treatment; they know they are receiving care from someone who truly has their best interest in mind.
